Miss Suva Anne Dunn is the newly crowned Miss Fiji.
Dunn will be representing Fiji in the upcoming Miss Pacific Islands Pageant which will be held in Samoa from the 27th of this month to the 4th of next month.
While opening the event last night, Minister of Local Government, Housing, Environment, Infrastructure and Transport, Parveen Bala says that the Fiji Pageant contest is one of those special contests that promotes the Governments vision.
Bala also revealed that Fiji will be hosting the 2017 Pacific Islands Pageant.
He says that the staging of such events means a lot to the Fijian Economy.
Bala adds that they will be utilising this to brand Nadi as a tourism destination.
Meanwhile, Miss Fiji Pageant First Runner Up went to Miss Nausori, Shirleen Singh while Second Runner Up was awarded to Miss Tavua.
