Contestants at Coral Coast for national pageant

Update: 5:16PM CONTESTANTS from 12 towns and cities around the country are today on their way to the Coral Coast ahead of the TFL Miss Fiji Pageant which will be held at Sigatoka's Lawaqa Park.
The second Miss Fiji Pageant will be held from November 12-19.
The women from Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Tavua, Rakiraki, Ovalau, Labasa, Savusavu, Nausori, Nasinu, Suva and Sigatoka will compete for the chance to represent Fiji at the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant in Samoa later this year.
The new Miss Fiji takes over from Miss Ba 2015 Zaira Begg, who later won 3rd runner up and the Traditional Attire title at last years Miss Pacific Islands Pageant. Fiji has won the regional pageant twice before in 2009 (Mere Nailatikau) and 2011 (Alisi Rabukawaqa). 
Contestants who have all won municipal pageants in order to qualify to compete at national level are judged on Miss Pacific Islands Pageant categories such as Research Topic Presentation, Traditional Attire, Sarong Competition and Talent Show.
