Tickets on sale for Miss America competition in September

Tickets are now on sale for the Miss America competition in September at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
Prices are as follows, not including fees,according to Ticketmaster.com:
- Seats for preliminary nights (Sept. 6, Sept. 7 and Sept. 8) are $23, $38 and $53
- Tickets for the Miss America final pageant on Sept. 11 can be purchased for $23, $78 and $103
- Four-night package prices range from $57 to $197
Miss America Organization announces four new scholarships
Another ticketed event was mentioned in the same press release from the Miss America Organization: The fan favorite Show Us Your Shoes parade.
The parade will take place on Sept. 10, the day before the final pageant will be aired live on ABC.
Tickets are not necessary for everyone who wants to watch the parade; just for those who want reserved seating at Kennedy Plaza. Those tickets can be purchased at $35 and $45 by visiting the following website.
Those who don't mind standing or sitting along the Boardwalk do not have to pay an entry fee for the parade.
