Former Miss Tipton County will compete at Miss America Pageant

Former Miss Tipton County Grace Burgess will be competing on the biggest stage in the world of pageants in September.
Burgess, who won the Miss Tipton County Pageant in 2015, won Miss Tennessee Saturday night in Jackson and now moves on to the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City in September.
"Six years I've been working toward this goal, and it's here ... I did it," Burgess told reporters after winning Saturday.
Burgess, a Shelby County native, won the Miss Mid-South Pageant earlier this year.
