Monika Radulovic could be our best chance of a Miss Universe crown since Jen Hawkins
AFTER a decade of near misses, Monika Radulovic may be our best chance of landing another Miss Universe crown.
The 24-year-old has flaunted her flawless figure in Las Vegas ahead of the annual pageant on December 20, where she will compete against 80 beauties for the coveted title.
Lying on a giant Planet Hollywood sign, the Bosnian-Australian model looked svelte and glamorous in a beige halter neck bikini, her sash displayed proudly in front of her.
Radulovic will be the eleventh Miss Universe Australia to vie for the win following Jennifer Hawkins’ victory in 2004, which catapulted her to national fame.
The Sydneysider has kept her social media followers up-to-date with her pre-pageant preparations, posting photos in the hair and makeup chair and sightseeing with contestants from the Philippines, Indonesia and Lebanon.
Radulovic, who holds an honours degree in psychology from UWS, vowed to be herself in the pageant and planned to be honest about her thoughts on world issues.
“If they want me and they can see me being Miss Universe Australia, that’s amazing, I’ll be myself and I’ll definitely give my honest opinion,” she said after winning the national title.
“If I’m going to be an ambassador for Australia, I have to be honest.”
