An Instagram post caused Miss Florida to give up her title this week when accused of violating pageant rules.
Pageant organizers say Genesis Davila, 24, allegedly used a professional to do her hair and make-up on the night of the pageant, which she is not allowed to do.

Genesis Davila's Instagram photo caused her to lose her title as Miss Florida. 

The Miss Miami Beach winner took an Instagram photo showing her with a stylist in a private room, and producers claim this "is an unfair advantage," NBC Miami reports.
But Davilla said to NBC Miami the photo was her with a "family friend in her mother's hotel room."
“I still feel like I’m Miss Florida USA because I was crowned Miss Florida USA that night,” Davila said to NBC Miami. “Even though all these false accusations and allegations and rumors have been wandering all over social media, I know that I have proof to show the world that none of this is true.
The Miss Florida title now goes to the runner up, Linnette De los Santos, of Sunny Isles Beach.
