Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach has said that Russian born Dr. Mikhail Varshavski dubbed the hottest doctor on Instagram has been very respectful about her life as Miss Universe.
“He’s been very respectful in knowing that my priority is Miss Universe and I appreciate that very much. He knows that this is my life right now,” said Wurtzbach, during an exclusive interview in “TV Patrol” news program on ABS-CBN last Tuesday.
Wurtzbach has admitted that she was in a relationship with the doctor. On the other hand, Varshavski has revealed that he was dating the Filipino-German beauty queen.
“As I said before, Miss Universe is still my priority. I’ve been working to get this title for a very long time and I love my job, I really do, and it’s going to stay that way for a long time,” she added.
Now based in New York during her reign, Wurtzbach said that she was enjoying every moment of her journey as Miss Universe.
“Kasi alam ko na one year lang siya so I try to cherish it as much as I can. Marami talaga [akong memorable moments] especially ‘pag nakakauwi ako at nakakausap ko ang mga Filipinos and I see the kind of impact I have,” she also said.
On Good Friday, March 25, Wurtzbach arrived in the country without fanfare to shoot commercials, attend the 2016 Bb. Pilipinas beauty pageant press presentation and other private functions.
Organizers of Bb. Pilipinas pageant said that Wurtzbach is not allowed to give interviews during her 10-day stay here, except for ABS-CBN, the broadcast partner of the Miss Universe Organization.
After that, the beauty queen would go back to New York City. On April 14, She would return to Manila on April 14, few days before the 2016 Bb. Pilipinas grand coronation night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City on April 17, sources said.

Wurtzbach, who arrived in the country on Good Friday for a commercial shoot, made a surprise appearance at the press presentation of the 2016 Bb. Pilipinas beauty contest. She offered an advice to the 40 official candidates of the pageant.
“Some of you are first timers. I will never forget the first time I joined Bb. Pilipinas. That definitely changed me for the better. Even though I won first runner up, not exactly a title holder, I still learned a lot from it,” she said.
“Please don’t forget the essence of the beauty pageant. Why do girls join pageants? And the answer would because it is a platform for you to open doors for other opportunities in your life. Don’t forget that. That’s not only a Q and A answer to ask you not to win the crown. Actually that’s something you have to believe in, that all of these are temporary.
“You have to think what you want in the future — plan ahead and for now enjoy your moment while you’re here you’ll never get back this moment again press presentation the coronation night on April 17 Make the most of it. If that’s what you want, be firm and have fun with it. From where I am sitting over there, I can tell which girls are genuinely having fun,” Wurtzbach said.
