Pia meets PNoy at Malacañang

The most beautiful woman in the world—in the universe—met with the most powerful man in the Philippines on Tuesday.

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach made a courtesy call on President Benigno Aquino III in Malacañang on her fourth day back in the country. Accompanied by her mother Cheryl, Miss Universe president Paula Shugart and Binibining Pilipinas Charities chairperson Stella Araneta, Pia spent an hour chatting with Aquino in the Presidential Hall.

According to Wurtzbach, she and the President congratulated each other on their individual successes. Dispelling any romantic links with the commander-in-chief, the beauty queen said that she felt honored to be meeting with him—especially with the Miss Universe crown on her head, which she said she proudly shares with the nation. — BM, GMA News
