MANILA – Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and ABS-CBN News’ Atom Araullo finally came face to face for the first time since their pairing caught the fascination of netizens and TV viewers.
The "Piatom" love team began when Wurtzbach granted an interview on "Umagang Kay Ganda" after she won the international pageant. The two were teased by Araullo's co-hosts upon learning that Wurtzbach was not seeing anyone.
During Wurtzbach’s Kapamilya homecoming on Wednesday, Araullo was among those who interviewed her. They talked about Wurtzbach’s advocacies, how her life has changed since winning the pageant and if she has any regrets in life.
Araullo also asked the beauty queen about love.
In her other interviews during the homecoming, Wurtzbach admitted that she finds Araullo charming.
However, she stressed that fulfilling her duties as Miss Universe is her top priority for now, and that her love life has to temporarily take a backseat.
