New Miss Georgia and Miss Teen Georgia crowned in McDonough

McDONOUGH— The 2016 Miss Georgia USA and Miss Georgia Teen USA were named Saturday in McDonough.

#A total of 98 girls competed in the two pageants.

#Miss Spalding County USA’s Emanii Davis was crowned the 2016 Miss Georgia USA, and Bentley Wright, Miss Coastal Georgia Teen USA, was named the 2016 Miss Georgia Teen USA.

#The two received prizes and scholarships, and will have the opportunity to represent Georgia at the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants next year.

#Runners-up in the Miss Georgia competition included first runner-up Keila Diaz, Miss Heart of Gwinnett; second runner-up McKenzie Blair-Griffith, Miss Midtown; third runner-up Marianny Egurrola, Miss Buford; and fourth runner-up Kristen Robinson, Miss Southern.

#The pageant was held at the Henry County Performing Arts Center.
